Macbook sleeps with Ubuntu !!

I don’t know if they had sex but..
I recently installed Ubuntu Feisty and I was disappointed ’cause sleep wasn’t working. So I reported the bug on launchpad, then a guy came up with a patch found on some mailing list. I just applied it and now sleep works.
The patch is against libata, and is a quick hack that disables device suspend at all.. There sould be an official fix soon. If you want to try this one all you have to do is download the kernel source package, apply the patch, and compile the kernel modules (make modules). If you need specific instructions just ask me in a comment.
Ma hai il dual-boot? Comunque carino il macbook, supportatissimo sotto Linux.
Si ho il duaboot. Ora per fare il duaboot non serve piu Refit. Metti osx, allochi lo spazio “per Windows” usando Bootcamp. Poi metti il cd di Feisty, all’installazione cancelli la partizione nuova di Bootcamp, crei una ext3 e una swap per Ubuntu. L’installer poi va avanti normalmente, e Bootcamp riesce ad avviare Linux (Sebbene nel menu all’avvia lo continui a chiamare “Windows”
